Who Touches Your Vehicle Matters As Much As The Film
Your vehicle stays in our Ottawa shop. Here is what our installers do, step by step.

Full decontamination wash. Defect inspection. Paint correction where needed. Then the film comes out.

Panels are cut on a plotter, so no blade ever touches your paint.

The film goes on by hand, edges wrapped rather than trimmed at the seam.

The vehicle stays with us while the film cures. Rush the cure and the film can lift, so we don't do same-day jobs.

One last inspection. Anything we're not happy with gets taped and made right before you get the keys.

You do not have to do it all at once. Start with the hood and bumper, then expand later.
A straight answer. If PPF is not the right call for your vehicle, we will tell you instead of selling it to you. Existing chips do not rule it out. Touch-up first reduces visibility without erasing it, and the film stops the next round.

Final pricing may be confirmed after an in-person vehicle inspection. When you're ready to book, a 30% material deposit reserves your install date and triggers the film order. All prices pre-tax; HST added.

See The Film On A Real Vehicle Before You Decide
See active installs, the clean bays the film cures in, and vehicles at every stage. It is the easiest way to judge an installer with your own eyes. Ask in the form notes and Kevin will set a time around your schedule.
Your PPF Questions, Answered Before You Book
How do I take care of it?
Wash it the way you wash paint. Hand wash and touchless are both fine, and touchless is generally easier on film and paint than a brush wash. The film is built for the washing, weather, road salt and bugs your vehicle already sees.
How does it hold up? Will it yellow on a white vehicle?
The film is built to resist yellowing, including on light colours where a covered edge would show first, and it self-heals light scratches with heat. Michael Lapot, just over a year in, put it this way in a Google review: "Being able to wipe/spray off the dead bugs and not worry about stone chips on my trips to Toronto is game changing."
Can it come off later?
Yes. Removal is part of the design. The film comes off without repainting, and the paint underneath is how it went under. Rock chips don't work that way.
How long do you need the vehicle?
The vehicle stays with us for the install and the cure, and drop-off timing is flexible. You get the exact window with your quote, sized to your vehicle, before you commit to a date. Customers drive in from Cornwall, Gatineau, Carleton Place and Embrun, and we plan the drop-off around that.
What's the warranty, and does it cover the install?
Two layers, both written: the film manufacturer's material warranty, and AutoCore's own installation warranty on the work itself. You get both in writing with your quote.
